Two Chimneys is a cottage-style house, the family home of Averil and Eric Garritt who offer a warm welcome and thoughtful and detailed hospitality - we wish all our guests to enjoy a pleasant and comfortable stay. The house is situated in a quiet, tree-lined road in the historic county town of Lewes, about 10 minutes' walk from the High Street. We have one double bedroom with separate, private shower room and one supplementary single bedroom. The rooms are comfortably furnished to a high standard and the house is centrally heated and double-glazed throughout. There is a pleasant, secluded garden and terrace (with Downland views) where breakfast can be served on warm summer days. Guests may relax in the garden at other times during the day if they wish.

We offer an extensive range of cooked breakfasts using local, organic produce wherever possible.

The east-facing bedrooms and dining-room afford beautiful views of the South Downs and Sussex Weald. Guests have sole use of the dining-room.

We have private, off-road car parking for guests. Two Chimneys is a non-smoking, pet-free house and we are sorry that we are unable to accept pets.

Walkers are welcome (access to the South Downs Way west of the town may be reached on foot - 15 minutes' walk from the house). We can provide transport to/from the start/finish of local walks, and for onward transmission of luggage (by arrangement).
